A great stop on the way back to Melbourne.
Its amazing. I havent seen the pink lake in before. But one thing should be reminded is flies, lots of flies around the lake.
One of the things that you should go, if you are driving from adelaide to melbourne or from melbourne to adelaide. One of the greatest EXTRAORNINARY GOD created things on the earth.THE LAKE IS PINK. Where else in this earth that you can see the water is pink? I think this is my first time. Not to hard to see.. pink in real color? What amazing.. and you can see a pink in water. It is LAKE PINK. Easy to walk. Expecially for older people.. little walk only 2 minutes, 200m. Easy to enjoy the lake, it is only in the side of the road.
The lake is not as pink and it's almost completely dried - they are basically salt. And you need a very hot weather to see the pink colour in it. However overall it's quite a unique place to have decent photos!
Beautiful. Lovely to walk down to the lake. Nice little picnici stop up the top as well.
